Art is something which is quite personal. I do art only when I feel like doing it. No events or happenings could urge me to do art. The urge to create art is spontaneous and that moment transforms me into a completely different person. Each creation of mine is a heartful journey. In that journey I experiance myriad emotions - happiness, anguish, disappointment and so on. My abstracts are a depiction of my explorations of my own inner self. This journey is quite exciting to me because of its spontaneity. The materials used by me or even the texture of the canvas talks about my state of being which I try to express silently. Once I am in this process I love to play with colours- each colour can tell you different stories. I get inspired by colours- their merging and the way they turn the blank canvas into a whole new universe is an exciting process. It helps to explore myself in all directions. My works mostly contain the elements of Nature. The light, shapes, movement and the colours inspire me during this creative process. Every creation gives me a sense of awakening. I believe that each work of mine is destined to happen. The canvas has chosen me to do so. That’s the truth.
